Forum How to import a big database?
 

Hello,

I am going for VB4.x, but I want to test first before upgrading my forum. At this moment, my forum has a big database file (1.05GB), I tried this command via SSH but it could not. It made my dedicate server with 3GB memory down:

mysql -uPutYourUserHere -pPutYourPasswordHere PutYourUserHere_databaseName < database.sql

Do you guys think this should work to import a big database like mine?
