Forum Is it possible that a style can create a backdoor?
 

I was hacked. Working on solution now with hosting company.

I'm trying to find the cause however. It's possible that it was due to the site running 3.8.3 at the time (as it had vulnerabilities).

But is it also possible that a recently installed style could allow for the hacker to gain access to the db? The style was bought, but from a company I was new to, and it's a fairly new skin (I don't know of other sites using it).

Just trying to weed out the possibilities here.
