CMS CMS v4.05 0 - Promoting Articles from Forum
 

I have around @ 700 threads that I want to promote to articles. I wish vB would have the ability to promote threads from the moderation tool, much like the way you can approve, delete, move, stick, merge, etc. Having to go into each thread to promote individually is a pain in the arse! :p


Also I noticed when I do promote a thread and hit "What's New", the article shows up as;

"Name of Article" Forum: vBCms Comments

When I click on the link it takes me to something that appears to be a post, with the following information.

Article: "Name of Article" and a link to the actually article "You can view the page at"

When I click on that link, it takes me to the actual page that opens in a new window.

My question is why the extra step and new window? Is it possible to just click on "What's New", see the new article, click on it and be taken directly to the new article without it opening up in a new window?
