Forum Exclude Category and sub forums from lots of places
 

We just installed a brand new 4.0 version of our forums, and I am wanting to "exclude" a certain section of forums (in this case our customer service forums) from things like todays posts, what's new etc - the major of our traffic is public (not customers) so they don't want to see requests for a new email address etc -

I am looking for something similar to what you can do for the sidebars where you can include only x forums, that works great. Any ideas?
