Forum Is there such an mod? Sock Puppet enabler - Ability to post as different users
 

I posted this over on vb.org, but am hoping someone here already knows how to do it.....

I am starting a new board from scratch, and want to prepopulate the discussions easily, under different users....

I am now laboriously logging in and logging out and logging in and logging out of different accounts to make the posts.

What I would like to make the process easier, is to have a mod that is AdminCP options based that will:

1. Allow certain users, or user groups, the ability to have this function.

2. Once enabled, allow a user to identify the sockpuppets he/she controls (with username AND password).

3. Inject into the new thread, post reply edit boxes a drop down selector to pick which member will be used as the sockpuppet.

If this is already a mod, a link to it would be appreciated. I found similar mods, IE log in as user, but it still was a one at a time deal, and buggy.

Similar functionality can be found in email apps such as outlook and google, if you have multiple email accounts set up in the interface. IE at the time of creating or responding to an email, you have a drop down list to indicate which account you want to use....
