Can't import images / attachments via https links!
 

Hello,

We recently switched to a dual server setup (one for web, other for the DB). Ever since, we are encountering a very peculiar issue.

1. Images on https links cannot be imported! Example link. Simply says "https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/blogs/resources/idsteam/HTTPS1.JPG:
Imageinfo Failed"

Note that http images upload just fine. It's only a problem when importing from https images.

2. Also, if the file extension reads .JPG (all caps) instead of .jpg, then again, it is not possible to import attachments.
