Which Is The Better Templating Engine?
 

A general question for those experienced developers; which is a better templating system to use? Books say smarty: http://www.smarty.net, but there also seems to be many others :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template_engine_(web), which after review, a couple have validity, one in particular: http://www.suitframework.com.

Are there better options available that a novice such as myself is not aware when it comes to programming template engines. I would rather work with the better from start, than screw about learning something where far superior options exist.

Thoughts? Expertise?
