Sometimes I like to have the view count and votes and publish date for article, but on the article page would often be fine. They do tend to really clutter up the front page though. Without any formatting controls, the stock tittles are pretty crappy. I have taken to eliminating all of it just to clean up my front page. And then make a real title in the body of the article. Just need a few option on where these things show.
