tuning for mobile device access?
 

I just don't know enough about mobile browsers yet, but I'm wondering if anyone can provide some input, thoughts and comments to improve VB for speed/load/etc. on mobile devices.

Previously our site (v2.2.8) was very accessible and quick when accessed via mobile devices such as the Droid. Recently upgraded to 3.8.5 and now seem to notice the browser on my Droid churning and churning, sometimes not loading anything beyond the header. If it loads the main page, it's often missing a lot of things. Checking with my laptop, everything loads fine on IEv8.

This leads me to wonder if there are some features in VB I should turn off (i.e., AJAX?) to ensure better mobile device access or some other things I should be doing to better tune the site and performance for the Droid, or should we recommend mobile users deploy another browser, or change settings, etc.
