Forum Banner ads and spacing...

I've place the "Nik Software link into banner heading 2 (I want it underneath the "welcome/notification/my profile... menubar) and placed the following code into the system for the link:

http://vb.ma7room.com/images/yellow/nikbanner.png

what am I missing that keeps the ad sitting bumped up against the logo on the far left side of the page?
