Forum seeing two /forums + where to place .htaccess
 

I've enabled Mod Rewrite Friendly URLs but I saw two /forums/ (example: mysite.com/forums/forums/...)

I placed the htaccess in the /forums/ , I thought that's the reason so I put it in root, and now I get internal server errors. :S
