CMS Widget issues (not displaying, getting "lost", etc)
 

We seem to be having issues with the widgets on the CMS page. We are using the fixed-liquid-fixed grid and have been using it since vB 4 came out. After the upgrade to 4.0.4, some of the widgets "disappear from the home page. Most often it is the Categories widget. Usually we can go to the layout manager, where the widget still appears on the grid by the way, remove the widget, save the layout then add it back. Today, both the Categories AND the Recent comments disappeared. We were able to get the categories back, but the recent comments does not display, no matter where on the layout it is put. We have cleared the CMS cache, repaired and optimized tables, rebuilt styles, still no recent comments. Has anyone else had this happen to them? If so, were you able to fix it?
