Major attachment recovery issue ... advice is highly appreciated
 

Dear All,
I 'had' a forum database i wanted to recover, due to many errors i had to go through IMPEX
Long story short,
Note 1 : Old attachments were on filesystem
I imported, fixed all whats needed, posts, users and everything else is recovered fine.
All had no issues till i came to Attachments :
Finally i recovered the table via mysql copy table to the new db table,
First issue, is posts althought they see attachments to those posts , they look as : 0 bytes

second : I tried renaming a folder of attachments to make sure they are looking for the correct file

Warning: fopen([path]/attachments/3/1394.attach) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/attachment.php on line 283

So i renamed back...
The attachment 1394 is a wma file , so i downloaded localhost/3/1394.attach and renamed it to .wma , the file is not corrupt .

So now my situation is after ( And confirming that attachments were manually copied from DB table and from FILE system structure )
Also confirming that post links are linking to the correct FILEs required for the post.

The Downside is files from post look as 0 byte and Download as 0 Byte !

What exactly can be done to refresh Sizes of attachments and can or might help me fix the attachments sizes ?
