Forum What's New Button Not Displaying Certain Forum

Really scratching my head over this.:confused:

I have a forum which doesn't display any results in the What's New page. I know this is just a search function but for some reason a particular forum doesnt get any results. I have checked that that particular forum is searchable so that's the obvious thing out of the way.
Any ideas?
