Suite When install mySQLi?
 

Hello. Im a proud new owner of a vB PS 4.x site and im trying to do a fresh installation and after im done, import my e107 community (norroner.com).

Im a bit confused on the configuration of/relation to the mySQL DB. I read this in the vB manual:

It is strongly recommended that MySQLi be used if your MySQL server is at version 4.1 or higher.

When browsing around i found that articles where refering to version 4.1+ or 4.1* which is two totaly different things, at least to me.

So, if I use PHP 5.x and have a mySQL 5.x db server, should i activate MySQLi according to this page in the manual or not?
