Forum Basic Avatar Question
 

I can't upload an avatar image on my website.

I can do it here obviously.

When I log on to my site as one of the test user accounts I created, I am not even given the option to have an avatar anymore. I can download one directly from my own computer when logged in as Admin. under User Manager/Image Options/Change Avatar.

When I try to upload via a direct link to Photobucket such as:

http://i970.photobucket.com/albums/a...H/ac4ed49e.jpg

I get this message:


There was an error encountered with your upload:

• Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file.

I would like for registered users to foremost be able to upload images from their own computer, or from a site like Photobucket. I am really not interested in keeping a library of images to chose from.

Please list any possible solution you may think of. I have checked my permissions, minimum avatar size requirements.
