Could Not Import AVATARS from phpBB 2.0.21 to vBulletin 4.0.3 using ImpEx
 

Hi there,

I tried many ways importing the avatars from phpBB 2 to vBulletin using ImpEx. No luck. I could not import any of them. I got no error message when I imported. Everything else imported perfectly except avatars are not showing up on the vBulletin boards.

• Type of import: A clean import
• Source board system and version: phpBB 2.0.21
• Target version: vBulletin 4.0.3 Patch Level 1
• Module issue occurred on: No Error
• Any SQL error reported: No Error

My original source phpBB is on different server(source_server). So I copied the phpBB database to the server(target_server) where vBulletin 4 is installed. I notice phpBB's avatars are stored in source_server:/images/avatars/gallery/. So I copied this folder and files to my target_server:/home/username/images/avatars/gallery.

I tried importing users with "Yes" option checked to avatar import option, and enter the path to target_server:/forum_dir/images/avatar

and I also tried entering the path to target_server:/home/username/images/avatars/gallery

and I also tried entering the absolute path to source_server:http://www.domain.com/images/avatar/gallery
