Blog Blog List vs. Blog Entry
 

When viewing the blog homepage, you are shown a list of blog entries. It seems that the text for those entries is being parsed by 1 function. However when you view the blog entry itself, it seems that the blog text is being parsed by another function.

Details

I have a usergroup that that can post HTML for embedded videos (not youtube). When viewing the blog entry in the list, the video is not shown. However when the blog entry is viewed directly, the video is displayed.

I suspect this was to keep from some misformed html from breaking the page layout, but I can't figure out how to get around it. Any ideas?
