CMS Want to change CMS from being in /forums to forums/cms <div>Hi, I need some guidance please if possible with 4.0.3. On the root of my site www.mysite.com is a Joomla CMS which I want to keep, and then when the VB4 CMS is disabled, my forums are at mysite.com/forums. When I enable the CMS, anyone going to the forums, is automatically dumped in the CMS, which is not what I want. I want the forums link to stay as mysite/forums and the cms to be on something like mysite/forums/content or mysite/forums/cms so if people don't want to see it, they don't have to. So, in the admincp, there is a setting to enter the required url, but then in the small print it says that I have to edit the entry scripts and then it gives some examples, but I have no idea what these examples refer to or where to find them. Also, in the examples, it says this: <div class="bbcode_container"> Quote: <div class="bbcode_quote printable"> Optional URL for your CMS. This may be specified to change the base URL for all CMS links. This is useful if you run the CMS from a location that differs from your Forum URL. You may specify an absolute URL such as http://www.example.com/, or a URL relative to your Forum URL. If your forum is in /forum and your CMS is at the root of your webserver then you may use ../. If you use an absolute URL the option Always use Forum URL as Base Path will have no effect for CMS pages, and the CMS url specified will always be used. If you wish to run your CMS from a location other than your Forum URL then you must ensure that the appropriate entry scripts have been set up. These include:
