Forum Installer not compatible with PHP 4 - .htaccess not working
 

I have php4 as the default handler for php files. I do have php5 now installed as well, but it is not set to default.

In the folder for vbulletin I have the .htaccess file with the following:

AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
I still get the Installer Not Compatible error.

I have searched but with no luck to my specific problem. Please help.
