Suite Problem with mysqldump --opt
 

I'm running some test upgrades on my local development environment, and now I want to export the database I've been working on.

When I type in the command in Terminal:

mysql5 mysqldump --opt -u root -p > /path/to/backup/folder/backup.sql
I get this error: mysql5: unknown option '--opt'

any ideas on this?
