I kinda miss some of the old features that 3.8 had. that doesn't appear in 4.X here is a short list of thing that would do VB some good. Least i think.

1) Usergroups - One of the main i would like (in terms of ****s and giggles), Is having to ban your Super Moderators, Moderators, Co-admins, Or at least give them an minor infraction. This also does hold some merit to it, just incase your mods/admin get out of line and get a bit power-Hunger this'll also be able to set them stright with "who's is in charge around here".

2) Database backup - One of the thing that i missed most from 4.x is the database. Cause for all i know, something might go wrong in a few days, And i don't wanna lost all my data. All my memebers,posts, threads,downloads, ECT.

3) Style Customization - As i noticed in the Style Manager under "main css" It say's "This CSS file is obsolete and is available here for reference purposes only.". The 1st thing that comes to mind is "Are you ****ting me? I cannot make my own style? (just btw i have seen the style generator video, I'm talking more customization in term of your custom style), I know this isn't quite fair judgement, 4.x has only been out for what? 3 months i believe and shouldn't be judge in such an earlie development stage. Just a little food for thought.

I've only been able to use VB4 for about a week. This is all I've been able to complain about.
