Forum Upgrading using a different database
 

I have a running vb 3.6.8 on a folder called "boards"

I uploaded vb 4.0.3 files to my server and named it "forums" .. I then used a copy of the DB of my current vb 3.6.8 to test the software.


My question is:

Can I use the same files that I uploaded (the folder "forums").. rename it to "boards" and connect config to my original DB to upgrade? or do I need to upload the files again?
