Forum Final pre-launch checklist
 

As I get ready to finally launch my site I am looking for any and all feedback regarding installation and configuration steps. The site so far only has one add-on, vBSEO, and a bunch of manual template edits (mostly CSS in "additional.css"). It will use manually-integrated AdSense rather than the vB "automagical" approach.

A pre-launch checklist would be fantastic. Does such a thing exist?

Security is a concern. Are there any known security holes that I should plug? Permissions to certain directories? Any .htaccess work to enhance security and reduce the probability of getting hacked?

Any and all advise would be very much appreciated.
