Forum Udating Vbulletin 4.0 Gold to latest version
 

This is the first time I've had a forum and have read through a few update/upgrade threads, but am still a little confused.

I currently have 4.0 installed, the very first version that came out. I want to update to the latest version, do I need to upgrade them each individually or are can I just go straight to the latest version 4.03 and still have all the patches and stuff that were previously released (included in the 4.03 upgrade).

I hope that makes sense. Also, is this something that I have to download and place into a directory at the host or is it in the cpanel (didn't see it, but maybe I missed it)? Guess I'm just looking for a very vague idea on how the updating works, so I know what I'm looking at.
