Forum Quotes width problem
 

Hi guys

I've searched both .org and .com for an answer without luck. I even posted this on vbulletin.org but haven't had any responses.

I upgraded to 4.0.3 a coupl eof weeks ago, and so far everything has gone well. Am still learning all the stylevars and tinkering.

But one problem I just cannot resolve is the width of quotes. It's an odd problem (please see attachment). I set the width of the forum to be wider and that seems fine for all posts.

However, if someone starts a new thread and decides to copy/paste something from another site (we always insist that all material from other sites or news sites is encapsulated in quotes and has a direct link to source), the quote box is much narrower than the message box.

But when someone quotes from a previous post (i.e. Replies with Quote), the quote box streches to fit the message box.

How do I set the quote box to always fit the message/post box? I've tried everything in the stylevars without luck.
