Bacing up through Admin?
 

I need to learn how to properly back up my forum. Currently, I log on to the Admin and go to Maintenance >> Database backup and then I go to the end of "Database table to include in backup" abd hit "go".

Then I download this file to my computer.

Is this backing up my site though? What if I had a major problem and had to reload vBulletin. Is this the file I would need to restore all the users and current threads?

I am just reading about programs like phpMyAdmin. Do I need something like this or will the previously described method work as a safe backup.
