Public Group Help - Can't Join Group
 

I set up a new group in the groups manager.

I set "Public (Joinable) Custom Usergroups" to "Yes"

When I try to join the group, I get this message:

This does not appear to be a public user group.

Even so, the group description says "Anyone is free to join this usergroup"

What am I missing? Why can't this group be joined?
