database sharing different vb versions
 

first of all i am not sure whether i should ask this question here or 3.7 section , mods please move to appropriate section .
the question is that i have 2 vb licenses one is 3.8.2 with huge database (Threads: 53,458, Posts: 446,802, Members: 17,227 ) and the other is 3.7.2 fresh installation . they are both hosted on same server same hosting account (old installation in home directory , fresh installation in home/forum directory )
i want to share just users data on both forums i mean not the hole data just user info table or whatever you name it , so all the old forum members don't have to go through registration process again on new installation .
please help me if this is possible .
