Forum vBulletin header refreshes on every click on the navbar links in IE. Hi, This is something I've noticed and I'm concerned about. when browsing with FireFox on a vBulletin site and clicking on the links in the navbar (Blogs, Home, Forum etc') the header doesn't reloads when the page loads, this phenomenon doesn't happens in Internet Explorer, you can clrealy see that the header reloads (for a mili sec') and basically all the upper area loads again, which means more 'get' requests, slower, "uglier" and inefficient browsing, the header doesn't need to reload on every page we go on the board, isn't there an http header that suppose to prevent it? (caching or something) I would like to get answers as technical as you can supply, I'm talking about using the Default template. I've noticed it when starting to change the upper area of the board, the functionality should be the same when using FF and IE.. Thanks. |
