Forum newbie questions
 

1. How do i put my own images/icons next to each forum categories on the forum main page?

2. Whenever you go to ourdomain.com for the forum, it redirects to ourdomain.com/forums.php Instead of that , can it load to an index.html file or just show ourdomain.com

3. We activated "Mod Rewrite Friendly URLs", so it shows for a thread for example, http://ourdomain.com/threads/name-of-thread
Instead of "/threads/" how can i make it so the forum categories name replaces that.

4. How can i change the URL of a forum category.
Currently it shows as http://ourdomain.com/forums/positing of category + category name

I want to get rid of the "/forums/" and rewrite the ending of the URL so its only http://ourdomain.com/categoryname
