CMS Can Publish permission problem
 

I have a problem with CMS permissions.

I have these permissions set for my home page. Usergroup = Sponsors
Sponsors can Read, Create Content and Publish in the home page. They do not have permission to Edit Other's Content anywhere.

The problem is when the Can Publish box is checked, the edit pencil appears next to Home Page as well as next to content created by others. I have ensured that the box next to Edit Other's Content is blank for the home page and all other sections. Why is this happening?

I am using 4.0.2 PL4
