5 second Hangs When Posting + Visitor Messages
 

Okay, everything was swimmingly fine before I updated but here's what I did;

-Upgraded lighttpd, php4 to php5, and mysql to mysql5
-Enabled gzip output compression for lighty and php

Now, everything is fast except when posting via quick reply - it takes about 5 or so seconds and says "Please Wait" with a circular animation. Before it was instant. It also does this with visitor messages.

Any ideas?
