Forum Cannot register new members on 4.0.3 Dear Forum, here is my issue. I would appreciate (as ever) some ideas on how to fix this problem as I cannot fix them myself as I lack your 1337 skills. :p Background: Forum functions on the web OK logged in as administrator. Issue: Trying to accept new members onto forum not possible - errror preventing user registration once all the details are filled in (user name, email address etc etc) and one presses the button to sign up. Example of error: Error produces white screen with black text at the URL: http://www.mywebsite.com/forums/register.php?do=addmember I get the message........... Warning: require_once(includes/functions_vbsfs.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/register.php(327) : eval()'d code on line 3 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/functions_vbsfs.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php') in /websites/123reg/LinuxPackage21/xm/rv/po/mywebsite.com/public_html/forums/register.php(327) : eval()'d code on line 3 Attempted newbie investigations: * Tried with Google Chrome, and IE8. Error is replicated. * Allow new user registration ? Yes. * Forum is active in admin CP also. So I'm rather stuck as what is causing this issue. Thank you in advance for any ideas. |
