Forum Would this work?
 

Hi,

Would the following upgrade scenario work?

Disable hooks
Upgrade to 3.85
rename current "forum" folder on server to "forumold"
upload VB4 to new "forum" folder
edit config.php to use the 3.85 database
run the VB upgrade install..

The idea for doing it this way is to get rid of all the old mod files and have a clean install
