vB4 Cant change link colour
 

Hello,

I want to change the default link colour but I don't know how to do it.

I'm posted two pictures. The first one is the default where you can hardly see the link.
The second one is when I hover on the link and it turns to black. I changed it's colour from stylevars but I do not know how to change the default colour. I want to change that to black too so that it's clearly visible without even having to hover.

I have already tried to change link colour from stylevars but ti didn't work.

Another thing, I have changed the background colour to white but the background of the chatbox remains same. I wouldn't need to change the link colour if you tell me how to change the background of the chatbox to white so that it matches with the colour of my forum.
