Forum Another day WASTED on VB...
 

I'm a patient guy, but I'm starting to really regret purchasing Vbulletin CMS !

I've been all day trying to upgrade from 4.0.1 to the latest version - why do so many things go wrong when you try to upgrade VB??:mad:

I've finally got my forum running again, but now the Nav Bar has lost the 'Home' and 'Blogs' buttons from the navbar!

It seems that due to the many flaws in VB, support will recommend a workaround such as "create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates" which then messes up other settings!

I own a busy company and wish I could bill VB for all the time I've spent trying to get things to work.

Pleeease support, give me some good advice as to why my nav bar is now half the size it used to be! How can I get it back?

After all, the ONLY reason I am upgrading is due to the warning from support that they had left security vulnerabilities in and introduced yet another bug. If VB needs so much updating every couple of weeks, you really need to sort out an easy, automated way to do it!
