Forum First install, with a few problems. Need help!
 

Hey everyone, this is my first time installing VB. I purchased VB 4.0 forum last night, and an account with Hostgator.

I setup my domain name through hostgator and setup a database.

I used Filezilla to insert the "upload" file into my site's public.html folder on Filezilla. All my files uploaded successfully.

However, when I try to access my website to actually run the VB setup, it goes straight to my user cp on host gator.

How can I actually run the VB software on my site?

I tried the www.xxxxxxxx.com/install/install.php but got a 404 error.

This is hopefully a basic and easy to fix problem, but I will admit I am a bit over my head. Nothing wrong with learning though :cool:
