Evening all,

I currently administrate an online community with approx 1000 members.
The current website runs Wordpress, PHPBB3, and Gallery2.
Both Wordpress and G2 intergrate back into PHPBB3 (Wordpress via WP-United and G2 thru NukedGallery's mod).

As the community has grown (now around 130,000 posts) this solution has become combersome. All these mod's and intergrations have taken their toll on performance and reliability.
Nutshell version; its old, tired, and needs replacing.

So, before I go about dropping $300 on vBulletin, I need to know how well the migration will work.

The info I've found thus far on the phpbb3 > VB converstion is scretchy at best. I read somewhere that passwords dont come across? (mind you, wouldnt surprise me considering PHPBB3's rather odd password hashing)
Do attachments come across ok? How about Forum permissions and member groups?

Is it possible to migrate the Wordpress install across to the new 4.0 Publishing Suite CMS? If so, how about then re-synching the users?

And finally Gallery2. I havn't seen any info on migrating this. Am I better off keeping G2 and intergrating it back into VB?
