Forum Variables not being read?? What in the...
 

Does anyone happen to know if there are any circumstances in which vB variables that are called in templates will NOT be referenced correctly (not talking about syntax errors)?

For instance, let's say that I have a hypothetical pretend jquery menu that has a link to the ACP, or the Mod CP. In this situation variables such as {vb:raw admincpdir} aren't being read. The actual lines below would be in a template, but they're displays are being rendered in a jquery menu. Soo....why would the url for instance, want to go to "mysite.com/index.php" instead of picking up the {vb:raw admincpdir} prefix?
