CMS Widget Problem: Latest Article Widget, not working?
 

I have a Latest Article Widget set up and it is suppose to point to one section (Deck of the Day) and feature only one of the latest articles. Specifically it is supposed to pick up the latest "Deck of the Day" Article and promote it on the home page. Thus, the Deck of the Day.

However, it doesn't do that.

It just takes the latest article from any category and features it.

In addition, it tries to show the avatar of the person that posts it. How do I get rid of the avatar? How do I make sure it ONLY points to the Deck of the Day Section.

Do I need someone to create a custom widget?
