Splitting sections of the forum
 

Hi folks,

I'm not exactly sure how to word this but here goes...

My forum is about topic1. Through the years, we have added sections that are not directly linked to the main topic. Now, topic2 is becoming pretty big and sometimes gets more posts than topic1. Members who come to the site for topic1 and not really interested in topic2 and vice versa so they don't want to see the other posts in 'new posts' or 'todays posts' etc.

What I was thinking about is maybe a subfolder or subdomain for topic2. I can't think of a way to do it though, without purchasing another vb license and installing it in the subfolder. But then it would become a separate installation and I don't really want that.

Any ideas would be great.
