Paid subscriptions not working.
 

I have a subscription part of my website that initially used a custom plugin that allowed members to be billed monthly from their mobile phone.

This upgraded them to the subscribed usergroup which gave them more forums.

After a lot of requests to add PayPal as a payment option i set it up and got my first subscription via that method.

However the member complains he has not been upgraded, i have checked and i received his payment but he has not been moved up to subscribed usergroup. there is no log in the transaction log.. it's as if nothing has happened on the forum side.

I have checked settings and tested communication but can't see anything.

any ideas?
