Forum upgrade_403.php?step=1 is running for 3 hours
 

I am upgrading 3.8.4 forum with about 3m posts to 4.0.3pl1 and upgrade_403.php?step=1 is running for 3 hours already. Is this normal?

I checked the code and the last and probably the most time consuming operation on this step is this:

"ALTER TABLE " . TABLE_PREFIX . "user MODIFY salt CHAR(30) NOT NULL DEFAULT ''"
I checked the database (through phpmyadmin) and it shows that salt field is 30 chars long. Is this a good indication that this step is finished and the browser just timed out? Can I just manually switch to upgrade_403.php?step=2 now?
