Forum Facebook connect doubling page load time?
 

Has anyone else noticed Facebook connect causing a massive slowdown? When it is enabled it is obvious my forum home is taking longer to load. So I opened up firebug and without Facebook connect active Forum home completely loads with nothing cached in about 2.5 seconds. With Facebook connect activated it jumps to 6.5 - 8 seconds. What's the deal? This is unnacceptable I spend way too much time trying to optimize speed including using a CDN for all static content. Any ideas?
