Forum gif avatar resizing
 

I've set the max avatar size of 80 x 80 on my forum. whenever an user uploads an animated gif larger than that, it saves the gif static, without any animation. Is this something normal? It's a GD thing? I really want to save the users the hassle of resizing the avatars in another program
