search results with out-of-date content
 

Hi,

I am running vBulletin 3.8.5. It is in Fulltext mode.

I am searching my board for a particular word, and deleting that word when I find it. After a few successful finds I do the following:

Maintenance > Update Counters > Rebuild Search Index (I also "click here to do so")

Once it's been rebuilt, I conduct a search for that word once more. I get the exact same results despite the word no existing.

What should I be doing, if not this?
