Forum Large Database restore I'm using the mysqldump -opt -Q blah blah command to create a uncompressed SQL dump of my database. Whenever I try to restore it using the mysql --verbose -u user -p target_dbase < backedup.SQL file, it will generally run and then freeze after the post table injection. The file is 914,590,748 so using phpmyadmin is not an option without tweaking some of the server defaults. Anyone have any pointers? Doug |
