Forum permissions, 2 groups, 2 user forums
 

I thought I'd set this up correctly but it appears not :rolleyes:

I have two forums:

- Forum A
- Forum B

Two usergroups

- Usergroup X
- Usergroup Y

I want X to see only A and Y to see only B, so I have set the forum permissions on forum A to allow all from X and deny all from Y and vice versa for the Users Y and forum B.

So now, X can only see A and Y can only see B - this is exactly what I want :D

Now the problem comes when I want to give one user in usergroup X access to BOTH forum A and B.
I thought simply editting this user and adding Usergroup Y as an additional usergroup would mean they could see both forums. This doesn't seem to work... Am I missing something crucial? :confused:
