Just some things I thought could be added:

Since I know that there's a great team at vBulletin, I think you could add some more shiny AJAX features that make everything look all 'cool', like form validating and such. Of course, I only recommend this to add extra sparkle, because not everyone has JavaScript enabled.

I also think that for BBCodes there should be a possibility to have single tags for custom items, something like:

I also think there should be a post keyword replace system, so that admins can replace anything with anything in posts, not just smilies and censored words:

Finally, I think there should be a 30-day history system for major actions such as deleting users, so when you delete a user it inserts a database record only with field ID, username and desc. Then you could add a new tab:
